Every composition begins with planning. Balance, anatomy, focal points, values, movement, and composition are established before the first layer of detail is applied. A successful piece is built from its foundation—not from isolated details.

Layer by Layer

Many projects can be completed within a single session.

Larger or more technically demanding pieces often benefit from more than one session.

Each additional layer strengthens color saturation, improves value transitions, increases visual depth, and produces a result designed to remain stronger over time.

Cover-Up Strategy

A successful cover-up is achieved through composition, value control, contrast, and strategic placement—not by simply covering old ink with darker pigment. The previous tattoo becomes visually integrated into an entirely new composition.
